Providing care and monitoring during seizures, including ensuring the individual’s safety, administering emergency medication if prescribed, and following a specific seizure management plan developed with healthcare professionals.
Caring for wounds and pressure injuries by cleaning, dressing, and monitoring healing progress. This includes preventing new injuries through repositioning and skin care techniques.
Assisting individuals with care of a stoma (an opening on the abdomen for waste removal), including cleaning the site, changing stoma bags or appliances, and monitoring for any signs of infection or irritation.
